Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer

Location: Wrexham

Salary: £38,303

Hours: 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, no weekends

Holiday: 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, increasing by 1 day per year up to 25 days with service

About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team in Wrexham. You’ll play a key role in keeping our facility running efficiently, performing planned preventative maintenance and responding promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.

Diagnosing and repairing faults across a wide range of electrical and mechanical systems, including:

Conveyor systems

Pallet movers and palletisers

Dock and shutter doors

Lighting and electrical systems (LED, motion sensors, wiring, control panels)

General building services (plumbing, fire alarms, emergency lighting)

Mechanical equipment (pallet trucks, forklifts, racking systems)

Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to keep operations running smoothly

Maintaining detailed records, ordering parts, and working in line with Health & Safety policies

Collaborating with other departments to ensure site reliability

Using tools and equipment safely, including working at heights when required

What We’re Looking For

Background in a manufacturing, processing, or warehouse environment

Electrically biased engineer with:

NVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline

17th or 18th Edition qualification

Desirable (But Not Essential)

Welding experience
