They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) to join their team as soon as possible!This is a permanent opportunity, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern of 2 days, followed by 2 nights (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am), with average weekly contractual hours of 42 per week.We are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, with both mechanical and electrical experience, along with qualifications to support this (essential for the post).The basic annual salary for the role is £44,488 per annum, with the opportunity for overtime at enhanced rates. The company also offers a quarterly Gainshare scheme, up to 5%.The purpose of the role is to ensure the reliable and safe operation of all plant equipment and services by carrying out effective maintenance, repairs, and improvements. The Maintenance Technician will play a key role in minimising downtime, supporting production efficiency, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.Duties of the role include:-Work on process operations to repair breakdown of electrical and mechanical areas as safely and quickly as possibleWork with Quality Technicians to ensure repairs leave machine 'process-capable' i.e. able to produce product within specification.
