⏱ Shifts: 4 on, 4 off (Days & Nights: 07:00–19:00 / 19:00–07:00)

Salary: £53,812.50 + Overtime + Excellent Benefits

We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and is passionate about developing people, driving performance, and making a real impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading and supporting a team of 4 engineers across rotating shifts
• Responding quickly and effectively to machinery breakdowns
• Conducting planned preventative maintenance and ensuring accurate records via our Shire CMMS system
• Acting as the first point of escalation for technical and operational challenges
• Delivering clear and structured shift handovers to ensure seamless team continuity
• Monitoring performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
• Collaborating closely with operations to minimise downtime and optimise productivity
• Managing spare parts usage and restocking efficiently

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Completed engineering apprenticeship with NVQ Level 3 (Electrical bias preferred)
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
• Experience within a fast-paced FMCG or food manufacturing environment
• Previous leadership experience (Team Leader, Supervisor, or Senior Engineer)
• Confident communicator with solid decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable using CMMS systems (Shire preferred) and MS Office tools
• IOSH or strong working knowledge of health & safety standards (desirable)
