My client is a large branded FMCG business, they are looking to recruit a Multi-skilled Engineer, ideally Electrical bias to join the business on a 12 month FTC to start asap.

The shift pattern is weekly rotation of 6-2/2-10/10-6 (Sunday night 10pm through to Friday lates 10pm)

Salary & Package

• £44-£50k
• Bonus - annual up to 10%. 5 % company performance. 5% personal contribution.
• Shift Allowance - 3.8k PA

You will ideally be Electrically biased, but my client is happy to consider Mechanically biased or Single Skilled.

The role

• You will be responsible for maintaining and optimising the mechanical and electrical systems in the production and warehousing facilities, as well as supporting and implementing continuous improvement projects.
• You will underpin manufacturing operations at the site by conducting plant maintenance activities to achieve targeted levels of productivity, whilst championing safety and quality behaviours.
• Day to day you will be involved in completing planned and reactive maintenance activities, recording and reporting all relevant data and information.
• Overhauling and refurbishing parts and equipment.
• Working cross-functionally with teams in the organisation to identify and systematically solve problems.
• Identify and implement machine modifications and upgrades.
• Develop documented training material and support in up-skilling the operations team.
• Support in refining the equipment maintenance strategies through quality problem solving and implementation of best practice maintenance techniques.
• Deliver performance and improvement initiatives against agreed maintenance and operations KPI's.
