We are recruiting an HVAC Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team located in Leeds.Role Summary:Identify and manage risks to the client through the equipment on site, including identifying critical spares, improving performance of plant and equipment, managing environmental conditions on site through the BMS system, and running all plant and equipment efficiently, improving and implementing the preventative maintenance program.Use new equipment and technologies to maintain a working and comfortable environment liaising with the client on requests for reactive and PPM tasks.Fault find on all types of HVAC plant and equipment with a bias towards the maintenance of Variable Refrigerant Volume air conditioning systems. Work with refrigerant and possess the necessary qualifications for handling F-Gas.Support team members regarding Health and Safety.Serve as Energy Champion and assist as Safety Champion for the site.Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the Maintenance team.Write and follow Risk Assessments and address any issues arising from them safely and accurately.Complete required documentation as specified by rules and legislation.Utilize Mobile Devices to accurately project and complete any works from the CAFM Maintenance System.Use email and calendars to plan daily work requirements to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.Liaise with onsite Supervisor and Account Manager to manage Building Services related issues, responding confidently and accurately as required.Act as the responsible person for the team and deputize for the site supervisor during annual leave or sickness when required.Be available to work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends with little notice.Perform ad hoc duties as required.Supervise and manage sub-contractors.Participate in an on-call rota for emergency call out purposes outside of normal working hours.Experience Required:A Recognised or Time Served ApprenticeshipStrong proven experience in HVAC maintenanceMechanical Competences / Qualifications to an acceptable standard to City and Guild’s MechanicalGood multi-skilled abilityAbility to fault find.Ability to supervise contractors.Able to complete Risk Assessments and Method StatementsAble to understand and write Permits and safe systems of work.F-Gas safe handling and use of refrigerants.Desirable:Working at Height QualificationIPAF / PASMAAP QualificationsBMS system experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
