Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias

Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production machinery and plant equipment. Ensure machines and equipment are maintained to agreed schedules to minimise breakdowns and maximise efficiency. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults quickly and effectively. Work collaboratively with other engineers, production staff, and managers to prioritise maintenance tasks. Adhere to site safety, health, and environmental procedures, ensuring compliance with risk assessments and safe systems of work. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including equipment upgrades and reliability projects. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and ensure engineering activities align with site standards. Support personal development by keeping skills and knowledge up to date.
Skills/Experience:
Time-served or qualified engineer with an electrical bias (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent in Electrical/Engineering). Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems. Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and continuous improvement methods. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong awareness of health and safety requirements.
Shift Pattern:
4 on 4 off, day/night
Basic 38 hours Pay:
£43,381.60 pa (£21.95/hr)
There is overtime and they pay time and half and double time Pension:
