OverviewMulti:Skilled Maintenance Engineer role at TipTopJob, Selby, North Yorkshire.Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are working with a well-established Manufacturing company based in Selby, North Yorkshire who are looking for an experienced Multi:Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team.Location and HoursSelby, North Yorkshire YO812-hour shifts including weekends (6am – 6pm). The salary is a GBP very competitive salary plus discretionary annual bonus. Working days with holiday/sickness cover for night shifts as/when required. Commutable from York, Pocklington, Hull, Goole, Castleford, Pontefract, Leeds or Tadcaster.ResponsibilitiesRun the day-to-day operations of Boilers, Gas Turbines (CHP plants) and Reverse Osmosis skidsMonitor boiler and water treatment plant and adjust settings as conditions requireMonitor burning of process gas and adjust fuel combinations to suit steam requirements and process gas availability; liaise with Production regarding steam availability and electricity for site usageLiaise with Engineering and Production departments regarding breakdowns and routine maintenanceCarry out planned, predictive and reactive electrical maintenance of the plant to keep production operating efficientlyFault finding, testing, calibration, installation and commissioning of process instrumentationIsolate electrical plant to comply with permit to work proceduresCarry out fault diagnosis and rectification solutionsElectrical installation and commissioning of new and repaired machinery and equipmentWork safely in accordance with site procedures and trade-related practicesHV switching and operations (training provided)Skills and QualificationsA recognised electrical/C and I engineering apprenticeship ideally in a heavy process industryHigher National Certificate (HNC) in electrical/automation is desirable or equivalent experienceCompetence in isolation, electrical safety and safe panel entryGood understanding of electrical installation/schematics and requirementsElectrical and instrumentation diagnosing and fault findingExperience in instrumentation maintenance and repairs/replacementsExperience in HV switching and operations or willingness to learn (training provided)Experience in running operation on CHP plants or willingness to learn (training provided)Ability to work unsupervised and, when required, organise the work of othersHands-on approach with ability to see a job through to completionAbility to prioritise own workloadFlexible and adaptable approachWorking Hours And SalarySalary dependent on experienceOvertime paid as required/shift premiumAnnual Bonus: DiscretionaryAnnual Leave Entitlement: 22.5 days inclusive of bank holidaysPension: 5% employee / 6% employer contributionPrivate Health Insurance: Single coverLife Assurance / Death in Service: 4 x Base SalaryIf you would like the role of Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, please contact Deb on 07557 803946. #J-18808-Ljbffr
