We now have an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Technician with some Mechanical skills to join our busy Maintenance Team at our production site in Eaglescliffe. Working as part of the team, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating engineering downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment reactive engineering activities on site. You will be operating on a continental shift pattern (06:00–18:00 and 18:00–06:00) 4 on 4 off, days & nights.Responsibilities / Mission Critical SkillsA strong electrical working knowledge with some mechanical experienceThe ideal applicant will be a qualified, time served in a similar position ideally at NVQ 3 levelIdeally apprentice trained, qualified to the 18th edition wiring regulationsPLC fault finding skills would be a distinct advantageExperience in mechanical fitting, welding, fabrication and general machining would be an advantageExperienced in reactive and planned maintenance of electrical systems controlling hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors (belts, chain, rollers, bearings, gear boxes, motors etc.), and able to read technical drawingsWhat’s next?This is a great opportunity to take the next step in progressing your career and join our thriving, industry-leading company.
