About the Role:
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring high-speed production equipment operates at peak efficiency. Working on a rotating days/night shift pattern, you will carry out planned preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform reactive and planned maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime
Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
Maintain accurate records using CMMS and contribute to root cause analysis
Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment reliability and performance
Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standardsRequirements:
Time-served engineer with NVQ Level 4 /HNC or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering discipline
Proven experience in a continuous process, manufacturing environment
Proven experience with electrical control, PLC & automation systems
Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Familiarity with CMMS systems and continuous improvement tools (e.g. 5S, Kaizen)
