Network Design Engineer

Location: Basingstoke (hybrid)

Salary: £55,000-£60,000 (DOE) + £6,000 car allowance + 10% bonus

We are seeking an experienced Network Design Engineer to join a high-performing team. This is a project delivery role - not a support desk position - with a strong emphasis on network security .

You will work alongside other design engineers to understand business and technical requirements, produce design collateral, ensure solutions meet governance and security standards, and provide hands-on configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting support.

Key Responsibilities: Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WAN) to meet customer needs. Implement network security measures, including IDS/IPS, firewalls, and secure zones.
