A leading global financial services organisation is seeking a skilled Network Operations Engineer to join their EMEA Network Support team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a complex, enterprise-scale environment where you\'ll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing critical network infrastructure that supports business operations across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, building, and maintaining high-quality infrastructure solutions.
  • Monitoring and managing network performance, diagnosing, and resolving complex issues.
  • Developing and implementing automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
  • Applying secure configurations and safeguarding systems against cyber threats.
  • Collaborating with product managers, architects, and engineers to deliver aligned solutions.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and contributing to internal technology communities.

What You\'ll Bring

  • Experience in network operational support within a large enterprise or financial institution.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability with proven success resolving complex network issues.
  • Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and associated protocols.
  • Experience with security technologies such as Fortigate (FW, IDS, FMG/FAZ), Cisco ASA, and Cisco Tetration.

Desirable Skills

  • CCNP certification (or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience in large multi-site, multi-protocol environments.
  • Practical expertise with MPLS, Multicast, QoS, and Wireless networking.
