Network Engineer - Automation - Fully Remote

Our client is one of the UK’s leading Challenger Banks and FinTechs, at the cutting edge of how IT can drive finance and evolve trading.

In their central Infrastructure team, they’re looking for an experienced Network Engineer.

This is an initial 6 month contract, inside IR35, fully remote and paying ~£600 per day+.

You’ll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the core networking of our infrastructure platform and you’ll have the chance to work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation and Azure DevOps tools.

There will be a real focus on (Azure) Cloud Networking and DevOps, tools such as Ansible and the automation of on-prem solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience of network design, implementation and management
• VPNs, load balancing and Azure network services
• Automation and IaC skills
• Strong knowledge of Routing, Switching and Firewalls
• Experience of Ansible, Terraform and Azure DevOps
• Solid knowledge of network security best practices
• CCNA certified or above
