We're looking for an experienced

On-Prem Network Engineer

to join a high-security, enterprise-scale environment. You'll be part of a dedicated engineering team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining a secure, scalable on-premises network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, and optimise on-prem network solutions. Build and manage systems across physical and virtualised environments. Monitor network performance, availability, and security. Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with governance and change control. Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality network solutions. Essential Skills & Experience: 3+ years in network engineering or a related field. Hands-on experience with

Cisco Firewalls, Switches & Routers ,

Palo Alto ,

Fortigate , and

NSX-T . Strong understanding of

Switching, Routing, VLANs, VNets, and network protocols . Knowledge of

Software Defined Networking

and

secure-by-design principles . Experience working in

highly regulated or classified environments . Nice to Have: Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python). Understanding of containerisation and data centre management.
