The role covers the full lifecycle of network management, from design through to commissioning and long-term support, while ensuring security, reliability, and performance standards are met. Duties and responsibilities of the Network Engineer: Act as a subject matter expert for network design, management, and security. Lead the design, build, test, and commissioning of internal and occasional customer networks.
