Role: Network Engineer - DV Clearance EssentialRole: Network EngineerIR35 Status: Inside IR35Location: Hereford (Full-time on-site)Contract Length: Until April 2025Experience: Minimum of 3 years supporting complex Campus Area Networks (CAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) EssentialSecurity Clearance: DV Clearance EssentialIP Cryptography: Experience in configuring and administrating IP cryptography DesirableLinux OS: Experience with Linux operating systems, command line interface, network logging, and analysis tools (e.g., PRTG, Solar Winds, Splunk) DesirableNetwork Support Tools: Familiarity with Splunk or Elastic for network support, including searching, navigating, and creating reports, alerts, and dashboards DesirableKey Responsibilities:Technical Competency: Demonstrate advanced technical skills in network engineering, including troubleshooting, configuration, and management of CAN and WAN.Supporting Production Networks: Provide comprehensive support for production networks, ensuring high availability and performance.Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team, under military management, to meet project goals and deadlines.Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels (both internal and external) with professionalism and clear communication.Security Clearance: Must hold active DV (Developed Vetting) clearance.
