NETWORK ENGINEER - ABERDEEN - HybridWe are sourcing a Network Engineer for a permanent role in Aberdeen. This client is a well-established IT business and quickly becoming a leader in their field, based on their years of expertise. The role would be working in the Client Support division and reporting to the Operations Manager.Job roleKey player in the designing and implementing of a functional and secure Network Infrastructure.Resolving support issues and addressing user’s needs.Operate as an integral team member for Client Support. Employ strong fault diagnosis and root cause analysis skills to diagnose and solve complex technical issues and provide timely solutions to clients from pre-sales through to service delivery and ongoing client support in a professional, timely manner.Maintain high degrees of customer service and satisfaction in all aspects of the role.Provide technical and general customer support both internally and externally specialising in but not limited to:Network Connectivity - Configuration, support & Maintenance of Network Connectivity (Switching, Routing) & Firewalling.Wireless Network– Design, deployment and support of wireless network services to clients.Voice Services - Support of Telecoms services to clients.Managed Services – Server Admin (Config, Support & Maintenance of Windows & Unix Servers), Microsoft Office 365 (Licensing & Management), and Cloud (VMware & Azure).Pre-sales Support – Technical Recommendations, supporting business development team, overlooking tenders and client scoping.Client Support – via phone, e-mail, ticketing system and site attendance, whilst meeting SLAsOut of hours support and resolution – be available throughout on call hours via weekly rota system.R&D / Product and Service Development RoadmapInfrastructure Management - Assist in system audits and development projectsBusiness Improvement & daily role managementDaily role management - Review jobs, tasks, tickets and event monitoring tools frequently and advance in a timely manner.Qualifications and Experience RequiredIn-depth knowledge of networking solutionsExperience in a network engineer roleExperience of providing exceptional customer support in a technical Support environmentCertification such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP or CCDA and ITIL would be advantageousA full clean driving licenseMust be located in the Aberdeen region to work hybrid 2-3 days per week in the officeNo sponsorship - must have at least defendants visa, Pre-settled, Settled, or ILR, or be a UK citizen. #J-18808-Ljbffr
