Overview

Network Engineer to join our high-performance IT team. This role focuses on shaping, securing, and scaling our network infrastructure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize a robust, high-performing network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Monitor and fine-tune network performance, identifying and resolving issues before they impact users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver network solutions that meet business needs and drive growth.
  • Strengthen network security by implementing access controls, monitoring, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular network audits to uncover opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, sharing expertise and helping the team grow.

Qualifications

  • Cisco CCNA (must-have)
  • Experience with Cisco (including Meraki), Fortinet firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls
  • Network monitoring tools such as PRTG
  • TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), DNS, DHCP, LDAP
  • Virtualization platforms such as vSphere and storage protocols like NFS, SFTP

Bonus Skills

  • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles
  • Experience designing innovative network solutions
  • Enthusiasm for staying ahead of networking trends and security threats
