Overview
Network Engineer to join our high-performance IT team. This role focuses on shaping, securing, and scaling our network infrastructure in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize a robust, high-performing network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Monitor and fine-tune network performance, identifying and resolving issues before they impact users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver network solutions that meet business needs and drive growth.
- Strengthen network security by implementing access controls, monitoring, and best practices.
- Conduct regular network audits to uncover opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, sharing expertise and helping the team grow.
Qualifications
- Cisco CCNA (must-have)
- Experience with Cisco (including Meraki), Fortinet firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls
- Network monitoring tools such as PRTG
- TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), DNS, DHCP, LDAP
- Virtualization platforms such as vSphere and storage protocols like NFS, SFTP
Bonus Skills
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles
- Experience designing innovative network solutions
- Enthusiasm for staying ahead of networking trends and security threats
