Responsibilities

:

Design, Improve, and Innovate:
  • Implement new technologies or changes to existing ones as identified by the architecture team.
  • Build, configure, and test new network and network security technologies.
  • Research and rmend innovative technologies for enterprise infrastructure management.
  • Integrate networkponents such as switches, routers, firewalls, wireless AP/Controllers, SDN fabricponents, load balancers, NAC servers, and cloud infrastructure elements.
  • Proactively identify and implement network improvements to ensure performance, resiliency, and redundancy.
  • Use blueprints to engineer solutions and adhere to enterprise standards.
  • Consider disaster recovery and business continuity plans for any new technology implementation or change.

  • Monitor, Document, and Offer Proactive Support:
  • Provide ad-hoc support for incidents requiring T3 level resources.
  • Use Microsoft Visio to document new systems or system changes.
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for SME T3 support requirements.
  • Maintain service level agreements, key performance indicators, and adhere to strict project timelines.
  • Maintain and improve security posture, addressing issues, vulnerabilities, and security requirements according to regulatory guidelines (PCIDSS, PII, CIS, NIST).

  • Collaborate and Coach:
  • Work collaboratively across various business units to implement new technologies.
  • Lead assigned projects in all technical andmunication aspects.
  • Collaborate with peer engineers to achievemon goals in assigned projects.
  • Coach peer engineers and perform knowledge transfer/cross-training activities.

  • Qualifications:

    Required:
  • experience in network design, implementation, and documentation of medium-large scale enterprise networks (10,000+ users).
  • experience using Cisco enterprise technologies - CCNP Enterprise (R&S) knowledge level required, CCIE preferred: Knowledge of Layer 2 LAN technologies (STP, VLANs, VTP, LACP). Knowledge of modern high availability technologies (VPC, SVL, HSRP, VRRP). Knowledge of routing protocols concepts (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF).
  • experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data centre spine leaf fabrics (Arista/Cisco). Arista ACE L3 certification required.
  • experience with Cisco DNA Center.
  • experience with SDWAN technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto ION).
  • experience with Cisco Wireless technologies in a large enterprise environment (Cisco WLC, FlexConnect, CAPWAP).
