This role may either be based from a multi-client delivery centre or at client sites for extended period of times when required.As a Network Engineer, you willProvide working knowledge of network security including deployment and configuration of firewallsDemonstrate working knowledge of networking routing protocols including EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, and IP multicastManage LAN/WAN environments including device protocols and communication standardsHave knowledge of load balancer solutions, in particular F5Have working experience in public cloud network & infrastructure resources (Azure NSGs, Azure VMs) ResponsibilitiesManage all network components in a LAN/WAN environmentManage Network Security appliances (e.g., Next Gen Firewalls with UTM)Troubleshoot network connectivity incidents (routing, switching and security)Build, configure and maintain network infrastructures as per best practicesIdentify service improvements to reduce risk and improve stabilityProduce high quality implementation scripts, test plans and change controls for all network changes (ITIL Framework)Upskill knowledge of different technologies (Project related)Create, maintain, and review operational and technical design documentation UK Networks team expectationsProvide out of hours on-call support, when requiredOccasionally work unsociable hours (evening/night, weekends, bank holidays)Work effectively with teams in other geographic areas, particularly IndiaHelp direct and educate/build skills in less experienced staffBe flexible, mobile and willing to work on client site at least 2 days a week.
