About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Network Support Engineer to join a growing global team providing 24/7 customer support across diverse industries. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of technologies and challenges, supporting customers directly while contributing to the development of best practices and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on support for customer networking issues, with ownership across routing, switching, wireless, and firewall technologies.
  • Troubleshoot, configure, and manage issues across all layers (1–4).
  • Adapt quickly to different technologies and environments, ensuring customer cases are resolved without escalation where possible.
  • Support network design and deployment initiatives, applying practical experience to solve real-world challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams, explaining technical issues clearly and pragmatically.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process, product, and service enhancements.

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of experience in a network engineering role (not general IT support).
  • Strong hands-on expertise in routing, switching, and wireless networking.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
  • Exposure to diverse network environments and demonstrated flexibility in context switching.
  • Practical experience with network design and deployment.
  • Light programming/automation knowledge (e.g., infrastructure as code, APIs).
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and past project outcomes.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and making decisions with incomplete information.
  • Curiosity about new technologies, balanced with pragmatism about adoption.
