The Role As the Manufacturing NPI Engineer, you will:
Lead NPI projects from initial concept through to full-scale manufacturing. Liaise closely with design, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth product launches. Develop and optimise manufacturing processes for new products. Produce and maintain detailed process documentation, including PFMEAs, control plans, and work instructions. Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and quality enhancement. Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
About You We’re looking for someone who:
Has proven experience in an NPI or manufacturing engineering role within a production environment. Understands lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Is confident in process development, tooling specification, and production readiness. Has excellent communication and project management skills. Ideally holds a relevant engineering qualification (HNC/Degree or equivalent).
