Night Shift Engineer Heathrow, West London £42,000 - £46,000

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer (with either Electrical or Mechanical bias) to join a leading building services provider at a static commercial site in Heathrow, West London.

This is a night-only position working on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern. You'll be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across a range of M&E systems. The role offers a fantastic opportunity to enhance your technical skills, gain hands-on experience in a commercial environment, and work for a respected and growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults across a variety of systems and equipment. Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive maintenance requests. Carry out maintenance tasks on systems such as emergency lighting, fire alarms, AHUs, FCUs, general lighting, minor plumbing, and basic fabric repairs. Support and liaise with subcontractors and ensure work is completed in line with compliance and health & safety standards. Follow maintenance schedules and complete tasks as directed by the Engineering Supervisor or Building Services Manager. Demonstrate a flexible, multi-skilled approach to support efficient, cost-effective task completion. Requirements:

Level 2 or 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent). Minimum of 3 years' experience in a commercial building maintenance environment. 18th Edition qualification is highly desirable. Strong fault-finding skills and a customer-focused approach.
