Node Software Engineer – 100m+ daily transactions. Location: UK, Europe, fully remote. Senior/Principal Node.js Engineer. This is a career-defining role with one of Europe’s fastest growing tech businesses.

Responsibilities

• Work on an incredibly high-scale platform handling 100m+ transactions daily.
• Address deep, challenging technical problems around optimisation, scale, and performance.
• Contribute to design and architectural decisions in a flat squad structure where all engineers participate in planning.
• Collaborate and learn from Senior Engineers at the top of their field.

What you’ll bring

• Solid commercial experience with Node.js and Typescript on large-scale microservices architectures.
• Extensive work on extremely high-traffic, distributed systems.
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes and either Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Deep understanding of AWS and related tools.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals.
• Comfortable working fully remote in a B2B capacity.
