Job Description:
We are seeking a Nuclear Materials Engineer to join our team based at Raynesway, Derby. The Core Materials team is responsible for developing materials knowledge through testing, research, and development, in close collaboration with manufacturing and design teams. The ideal candidate will have experience working with nuclear materials to support the design and manufacture of Rolls-Royce Nuclear Plant.

Ideal candidates will possess a degree in materials engineering, understanding of nuclear materials, manufacturing processes, and experience in creating specifications and standards. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to work across dependencies are essential. Desirable skills include safety awareness, knowledge of material degradation, and experience in regulated industries.
