ResponsibilitiesOverseeing and authoring nuclear substantiation documentation to support the site safety caseReviewing calculations & analysis workSupporting periodic review of safetyTaking ownership of deliverables and demonstrating a high level of autonomyProviding support of implementation of substantiation requirementsWorking closely with Human Factors, Site Safety Case and Engineering Authority TeamsSupport in the development of other Nuclear Substantiation team membersCollaborate with the wider business on Nuclear substantiation related activitiesQualificationsExperience of Nuclear Safety or Safety Case AnalysisExperience in Nuclear, other high hazard, or highly regulated industryAbility to produce high quality technical reportsDedicated in driving all deliverable associated activities through due processExcellent stakeholder managementDesirableBroad understanding of multiple engineering disciplinesChartered Engineer from the Engineering Council and a member of a relevant professional bodyDegree qualified in a STEM subjectThis is a place where you\'ll be able to make a real difference.
