Offshore Geotechnical Engineer - 3-Month Rolling Contract

I'm currently recruiting for an Offshore Geotechnical Engineer to join a leading offshore services company on a 3-month rolling contract. The role is based out of Norfolk and offers a strong mix of offshore site work and desk-based reporting and interpretation.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid grounding in offshore site investigations who's looking for a balanced role-vessel time combined with office-based geotechnical analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out offshore site investigations (short rotations)

Interpret CPT, borehole, and lab test data

Deliver technical reports and geotechnical models

Liaise with project teams, labs, and offshore crews

Ideal Candidate:

Degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering

2+ years' offshore geotechnical experience

Comfortable with both offshore work and office-based analysis

Strong reporting and communication skills

Contract Details:

3-month rolling contract

Competitive day rate (DOE)

Based in Norfolk with hybrid flexibility

Outside IR35
