IT Onsite Technical Support EngineerLocation: Central London (Onsite, 5 days per week)Salary: £35,000 per annum + benefitsAbout the RoleJoin Focus Group as our dedicated IT Technical Support Engineer for a key hospitality client in London. You'll be the face of our IT service, visiting multiple hospitality venues and providing hands-on technical support that keeps their operations running smoothly.This is a customer-facing role where you'll own the technical relationship with one of our most important clients, providing 1st and 2nd line support across their London sites.What You'll DoProvide onsite, telephone, and remote IT support across multiple hospitality venuesManage and resolve support tickets, ensuring excellent customer service throughoutDeploy and configure new equipment including desktops, laptops, and peripheralsTroubleshoot issues across Office 365, Windows environments, networking, and wireless systemsConduct daily checks including backups and security monitoringSupport project deployments and maintain best practice processesBuild strong relationships with end users, remaining calm under pressureWhat We\'re Looking ForEssential:Proven experience in an IT support roleStrong technical knowledge of Windows Desktop (7, 8, 10, 11), Outlook, and Office 365Working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, Group Policy, DNS, and network domainsExperience troubleshooting printers and general PC issuesExcellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearlyComfortable working autonomously and as part of a teamHappy to travel between sites using public transport (paid for by the company)Desirable:Experience with Mac OS X, Linux, and AndroidKnowledge of HP Aruba switches, Sonicwall firewalls, and ClearPassFamiliarity with CCTV, door access systems, and hospitality IT infrastructureUnderstanding of networking, VOIP, and SQLWhy Focus Group?Focus Group is a rapidly growing MSP with over 1,300 talented people delivering innovative solutions across the UK.
