OverviewBased in London two positions exist for Optoelectronics Photonic Systems Designers to join an exciting new start up. This position is Hybrid and will focus on the development of disruptive technologies for HPC, AI / ML Technologies.ResponsibilitiesOptical Network system design, implementation and testingBuilding of optical testbedsModelling and characterisation of optical componentsAssessing Optical Transmission network performance for short reach AI Networked SystemsQualificationsThe successful candidate will have a good relevant degree from a high calibre University, in either Physics, Electronics or related, along with extensive hands on experience in optical communication development.Experience of working with speeds of up to 100Gpbs either testing or DesignTest automation using PythonFor the more junior role a PhD candidate or researcher can be considered. For the more Senior, extensive experience of all of the above is required.BenefitsThe salaries range from around £60k - £120k plus an excellent share option package, private medical and more.
