Due to the site location, a full UK driving licence and your own transport are required.

From Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) to cutting-edge submarine rescue systems, their products are known worldwide for quality, innovation, and reliability in the most challenging environments.
We're now looking for a PCB Test & Repair Engineer to join their highly skilled team at their North Yorkshire facility.
The Role
In this role, you'll be responsible for testing, diagnosing, and repairing Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) within a high-tech, fast-paced environment. You'll work with advanced diagnostic tools, carry out detailed fault-finding, and perform hands-on repairs using specialist equipment. You'll collaborate closely with design and production teams, ensuring every product meets the highest standards of performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Test PCBs using ATE, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and diagnostic tools Analyse test results against design specifications Troubleshoot and repair faults, including SMDs, through-hole components, and multi-layer boards Perform soldering, rework, and component replacement Maintain detailed test and repair documentation, and provide feedback for continuous improvement Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and enhance product quality
What We're Looking For
✔ Hands-on PCB testing, repair, and assembly experience ✔ Strong soldering and rework skills (SMD & through-hole) ✔ Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams, schematics, and PCB layouts ✔ Knowledge of oscilloscopes, multimeters, and PCB test equipment ✔ Great attention to detail, analytical mindset, and team player attitude
Desirable: IPC-A-610 certification Experience with analogue/digital electronics, microcontrollers, or power electronics 2-3 years' experience in PCB testing & repair
