The site is easily accessible from Tilbury, Gravesend, Rochester, Gillingham, Dartford, Purfleet on Thames, Grays, Wickford, Southend-on-Sea, Basildon, Brentwood, Billericay, Dagenham, Erith, Barking, Wanstead, Walthamstow, Woolwich, Greenwich, Dartford, Sidcup, London, Bromley, Sevenoaks, Chingford, Waltham Cross, Hackney and the surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities
You as the Engineering Maintenance Planner will be responsible for adopting and deploying mechanical planning methods in line with our Maintenance Strategy and to utilise our CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System), to develop WO (Work Order) task steps, estimate resource requirements and assign required equipment/materials/spares necessary to enable efficient and safe maintenance activities to be completed in line with company and technical standards. You will support an inclusive culture where people are treated with dignity and respect.
The Maintenance Planner will plan and make arrangements for the safe completion of engineering and maintenance tasks ensuring they are carried out to a pre-determined standard.
Your responsibilities as the Engineering Maintenance Planner will include (not exhaustive):
Site operations are days, 24/7 and the role requires flexibility to ensure effective running of the plant
The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant in the role of Engineering Maintenance Planner will be instrumental in the future development and support of the engineering culture to achieve the benefits available through our continuous improvement strategy. You will have experience as in Engineering (Supervisor or Planner) / Maintenance (Supervisor or Planner) within a similar heavy manufacturing industry, this is essential.
