Platform Engineer London / WFH to £100k Opportunity to progress your career at a hugely profitable High Frequency Trading firm that specialise in crypto markets, in a hands-on Platform Engineer role. As a Platform Engineer you will join a small team responsible for the 24x7x365 globally distributed ethical web scraping function, supporting a multi-region high frequency operation. You'll proactively identify, analyse, drive and own performance and process improvements, collaborating closely with the development team on architecture and prioritisation and with the infrastructure team on common infrastructure improvements across the estate. Location / WFH: You'll join the team in Central London with flexibility to work from home twice a week (please note there is an on-call requirement). About you: You have commercial experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer or SRE within an HFT, low latency or web scraping environment You have strong bash or Python scripting skills You have multi-cloud experience (AWS and / or Azure preferred) You have a strong knowledge of Linux You have experience with forward proxy tools e.g. Squid You have experience of managing third party vendors You're collaborative and pragmatic with great communication skills You hold a technical degree Ideally you will also have some experience with one of the following: Containerization (Docker / Kubernetes), monitoring tools (Prometheus / Grafana / ELK stack / Splunk), IaC tooling (Terraform, Ansible etc.) What's in it for you: As a Platform Engineer you will receive a competitive package: Salary to £100k Bonus (c50% of base) Pension Hybrid working Career progression Apply now
