We have an exciting opportunity for a
Senior Platform Engineer
to join a leading organisation in the national security and government sector. You will be part of a growing team delivering innovative solutions to critical projects, with opportunities to contribute to impactful programmes and develop your expertise in platform engineering.
As a
Senior Platform Engineer , you will design and implement software systems, work collaboratively on proof-of-concept and production solutions, and maintain high-quality standards. You'll contribute to development practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and source control, while working in an agile environment.
Key Skills & Expertise:
Programming in one or more of JavaScript, Java, .Net, Python Designing and building proof-of-concept or production systems Experience with Version Control Systems (e.g., Git, Mercurial, Perforce) Utilising CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, TeamCity, Bitbucket Automated testing and static code analysis (e.g., SonarQube) Agile team experience (Scrum, Lean, Kanban) Familiarity with common software design patterns Additional experience in machine learning, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), database systems, or software configuration/deployment is desirable You'll Enjoy:
