We’re working with an ambitious, early-stage scale up technology company that’s building an AI-powered platform designed to tackle some of the biggest blockers to organisational efficiency.

With backing from leading VCs and early commercial success, this business has grown to almost 60 people in the past couple of years. As they scale further, they’re looking to hire a Platform Engineer to join a deeply technical team, and help lay the infrastructure foundations that enable secure, reliable, and fast product delivery.

What You’ll Be Working On:

• Building out secure, scalable cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure (experience with other cloud platforms like AWS & GCP is fine)
• Designing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code systems using Terraform
• Contributing to core backend services in Python and/or Go (or similar)
• Supporting CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and container orchestration (Kubernetes / AKS)
• Embedding observability tools (e.g. Azure Monitor, Datadog) for resilient deployments
• Partnering across engineering teams to improve internal platforms and reduce friction in development and deployment

You’ll be working with a modern stack that includes:

• Languages: Python, Go (or equivalents)
• Deep focus on secure-by-default infrastructure, identity management, and automation

What They’re Looking For

• Production-level coding experience in modern backend languages
• Strong foundational engineering skills (data structures, systems thinking, etc.)
• Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and DevOps tooling
• A collaborative, pragmatic mindset and interest in working cross-functionally
• Bonus: interest in AI or ML-powered infrastructure tooling
