PLATFORM ENGINEER

Outside IR35 – £500–£550 per day Hybrid South Coast (weekly/monthly onsite) Contract – ASAP Start Must hold active SC or DV Clearance

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on engineering role working within a secure, mission-led environment. You’ll be delivering automation, cloud and platform engineering solutions that underpin critical Defence & National Security programmes.

We’re looking for a Platform Engineer who thrives in complex environments, driving automation and secure-by-design principles across infrastructure and CI/CD workflows.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Build and automate secure infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, Puppet & Packer Deliver CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitbucket Containerisation & orchestration with Docker, Podman, Kubernetes Engineer across hybrid cloud and virtualisation: AWS, Azure, VMware Scripting with Bash, Python, PowerShell Support platform performance, scalability and reliability in secure environments
