Lorien Global are working with one of the largest independent bookmakers in the UK. As the business continue their development they are in need of a Platform Engineer to aid the Platform Team with the general day-to-day running of operations.
My Client, recently migrated some of their applications into AWS and are planning to organise this for other businesses across the Group as such is a great opportunity for you to be involved with exciting projects. Responsibilities: Enabling cloud scalability within AWS, by maintaining and building new features. Building and maintaining CI/CD Pipelines using Jenkins. Ensuring deployment and releases are time efficient and also quality efficient. Working with testing, software development and product teams. Heavily involved in Continuous integration, automation, Scripting, Infrastructure as Code, and Containerisation. Skills: Strong skills in Kubernetes. Strong exposure to AWS services such as EC2, VPC, Route53, Auto scaling groups, CloudWatch, IAM (2-3 years). Experience with configuration management tools such as ansible.
