Management of a discipline area as well as accountability for Digital services for one or more client projects/programmes as well as both direct, and indirect, line management. Ownership or shared ownership of an area of, and significant contribution to the digital centre of excellence, and for Mace way content.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Providing technical expertise of one or more areas of digital discipline.
• Driving and delivers digital strategies and solutions for client-facing projects and programmes - based on digital discipline.
• Executing and or oversees multiple projects simultaneously, likely at different stages of delivery and maturity.
• Selecting, recruiting and developing high performing project teams as a mix of digital practitioners of Mace digital consultants, suppliers and other technical people.
• Providing leadership and direction through team/s and managers.
• Budgeting, procurement, and cost tracking for digital elements.
• Contributing to global digital centre of excellence including body of knowledge, processes, case studies as well as bids.
• Managing team/s of direct reports, driving the appropriate behaviours to achieve success and KPIs, including a continuous improvement culture.
• Providing performance management, technical and career development and coaching.
• Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have:

• University degree (or equivalent).
• Technical/IT/Digital qualifications and certifications (or equivalent) such as in Microsoft or ISO27001, ITIL, APM/Prince project management.
• BIM/ISO19650 awareness.
• Technical problem solving. IT/Digital project delivery lead experience across full life.
• IT/Digital industry awareness including standard IT methodologies including waterfall, agile.
• IT operating model awareness such as how IT departments work, outsourcing, and key IT roles and responsibilities.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Effective negotiator.
• Stakeholder management at all levels.
• Able to set up an effective IT function on a client project.

You’ll also have:

• Build effective and high performing project operation including teams, processes, governance, relationships and networks.
• Seen as leader amongst peers.
• Vision setting and innovator.
• A Digital discipline specialism. Project management. stakeholder management (or equivalent).
• Other technical skills/experience from other Digital disciplines.
• Construction, property, and real estate industry.
• Public sector awareness - such as public sector procurement. Security, cyber security, data protection awareness.
• Experience of working in an international setting either remotely from or outside the UK.
