Overview

Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) - Food Sector
Location: Commutable From - Kettering, Market Harborough, Corby, Northampton, Thrapston, Rushden
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (with some flexibility on start/finish times)

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance on specialist equipment
• Develop expertise in two key machines, becoming the go-to specialist
• Ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of safety and efficiency

Qualifications

• A qualified engineer with an electrical bias (mechanical skills beneficial)
• Experience in maintenance within a manufacturing/production environment (food sector desirable, but not essential)
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Willingness to learn and become an equipment specialist
• Flexible and proactive approach to work
