OverviewPre-Construction Engineer - Electrical role at NG Bailey. Office based in Bridgwater (Hinkley Point C Project). Permanent – Full time. Competitive Salary + Car/Car Allowance + Flexible Benefits.SummaryNG Bailey are involved in the Hinkley Point C project based in Bridgwater, Somerset. This is the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in Britain providing zero-carbon electricity for around six million homes. NG Bailey, the UK’s leading independent engineering and services business, is part of the MEH Alliance delivering mechanical, electrical and HVAC installation for the project. This is a permanent full-time role and will primarily be office based in Bridgwater (roughly 10% of time onsite).ResponsibilitiesUltimately accountable to deliver Discipline Specific Construction Work Packs and record in Asset Suite 9 (AS9) the work information used to prepare for installation.Contribute to the scheduling of the works for the discipline, including review and feedback on suitability of level of resource.Define boundary of scope of works, liaising with necessary SMEs and client counterparts.Ensure documents are compliant with latest works information and other MEH documentation. Request clarification or propose changes when required. Prioritisation and ownership of documentation to enable construction works as per the schedule.Ensure documents are kept up-to-date and reviewed periodically where required.Ownership and driving of deliverables from conception to A-Accepted status >90% first time accepted criteria.
