Job Hours: 37 hours per week

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage a team of professional staff to ensure effective service delivery of the Structures section in line with the Council’s policies, relevant legislation, codes of practices, and contractual requirements.
2. Act as the lead officer for all structural-related matters for the authority.
3. Manage and oversee daily service delivery related to structural inspections, assessments, monitoring, and maintenance of Council assets such as bridges, retaining walls, pedestrian subways, disused coal tips, and reservoirs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Provide evidence of all essential qualifications specified in the job requirements.
• Ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
