We’re looking for a driven and experienced Principal Electrical Engineer for a contract role of 4 months.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining technical excellence while ensuring all work is delivered within budget and on schedule.

You’ll provide critical input into tenders and proposals, support the development of your team, and drive continuous improvement in processes and performance. This position requires the supervision and coordination of electrical engineering personnel, ensuring compliance with the latest industry standards, regulations, and codes.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining project plans, managing change control, and liaising regularly with clients and cross-discipline teams. Your expertise will be vital in reviewing, checking and approving engineering outputs, supporting the implementation of engineering procedures, and ensuring accurate document control.

As a technical leader, you’ll contribute to the development and assessment of team members, promote effective communication across the business, and provide essential support to the Engineering Manager and Lead Electrical Engineer. You may also act as the discipline focal point when required, championing a high standard of engineering delivery across all projects.

Skills & Qualifications :

• Demonstrable experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Chartered Engineer and member of appropriate engineering Institute.
• Sound technical background and expertise.
• Experienced in selection and use of applicable codes, practices, standards and statutory documentation.
• Mandatory offshore certification (BOSIET, MIST, Medical, etc.)
