Principal Mechanical Engineer - Waste & Generation (Energy) | Expression of Interest
New Today
Expression of Interest - Future Opportunities (please expect longer timescales).
The Energy Transition is the fundamental shift underway in how we, as a global community, produce, distribute, and consume energy, with the overarching goal of transitioning to a lower carbon future.
Will you be part of the solution? If you are passionate about making a difference in the sector, then join Stantec's industry leading Energy team in driving the change.
Stantec are looking to speak with Principal Mechanical Engineers for future opportunities in the coming months into our Energy & Resources team. Roles can be based in any of our UK offices but will ideally be reachable from the Midlands or Newcastle.
Working as part of our Waste and Generation Team, you will have an opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects including conventional EfW plants, district heating, gasification projects, hydrogen generation schemes and multiple biogas production projects.
In this role you will be involved in the whole project life cycle, from optioneering through to detailed design and installation. You will be involved with feasibility studies, site surveys and investigations. You will work collaboratively with clients, partners and other team members to develop designs and project-wide solutions across a wide variety of projects across Stantec’s Energy and Resources sector.
As Designers in the construction/energy/waste sectors it is incumbent on us to take our responsibility for HSE matters seriously and we foster a culture of open scrutiny and continuous improvement in these areas.
