Our client, a highly regarded engineering and construction firm are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to support major high-voltage infrastructure and renewable energy projects across the UK. You'll be part of a high-performing design team that is central to delivering critical protection and control systems across HV and EHV installations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the full design lifecycle for key energy transition and power grid projects. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute detailed protection and control system designs from concept phase through to construction documentation. Design and review technical drawings and documents including single-line diagrams, protection schematics etc.. Select and specify protection relays and associated IEDs suitable for HV/EHV applications. Ensure all designs adhere to relevant industry and regulatory standards. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery. Participate in technical reviews, design risk assessments, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the team.
