About the Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Principal Process Engineer to join our Energy Business. Engineering &Technical Solutions (ETS) is entering an exciting phase of opportunity by supporting our key client’s UK nuclear fleet through a business transformation, and by supporting new small modular reactor (SMR) developers.

The candidate’s base office location will be either, Knutsford, Warrington, Stockton-on-Tees, Gloucester or Bristol with the possibility of being able to travel to other sites and Amentum offices, as required

Our work is varied; covering New Build, Generation, Life Extension, and Defueling, and our capabilities are in demand across the nuclear sector. Amentum offer flexible working as well as hybrid working between a chosen base office and home. You will report into the Process Engineering Lead and work closely with other engineers across the business.

The successful candidate must be highly motivated and proactive and looking to develop their technical capabilities and share their experience to develop other junior engineers. The Process Engineering post is for those with experience of working within the civil, nuclear or other highly regulated industries. Candidates will be familiar with the requirements of working in a regulated environment with providing ER support and as an Amentum employee, you will deliver work to high HSSE standards in compliance to HSSE regulations.
