Salary: £100,000 to £110,000 (DOE) + bonus and excellent benefits

Summary

A leading financial services organisation is looking for a Principal Salesforce Engineer to take a pivotal role in its digital transformation. You will lead engineering teams to design and deliver enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions, integrated with .NET and Azure platforms, supporting business-critical systems and improving customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Salesforce-focused product engineering teams, driving delivery of transformation projects
  • Provide technical direction, hands-on code reviews, and enforce engineering best practice
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and business stakeholders to ensure outcomes meet business needs
  • Shape and deliver engineering strategy as part of the leadership team
  • Evaluate emerging Salesforce technologies and wider solutions for enterprise adoption
  • Ensure systems meet performance, scalability, security, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading Salesforce engineering teams within large enterprises
  • Strong expertise across the Salesforce ecosystem, including integration with multiple platforms
  • Experience with Azure, .NET services, ADO pipelines, and React applications advantageous
  • Ability to align technical delivery with business strategy and manage senior stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of Agile practices and modern software engineering principles
