Our client is looking to grow their Structural Engineering team with talented Engineers at Senior and Mid-level. This is a chance to join a leading consultancy delivering complex, high-value projects across the UK. The portfolio includes infrastructure, commercial, mixed-use, and specialist schemes, often exceeding £30m in value.

Location & working pattern

Cardiff (Hybrid – 2–3 days per week in office, flexible)

Hybrid working is standard – most of the team spend 3 days in the Cardiff office, but we can be flexible (minimum 1–2 days). If you’re based in another UK office, we’d ask for at least 2 days per fortnight in Cardiff.

Responsibilities

As part of a growing structural team, you’ll be involved in the design and delivery of high-profile projects, collaborating closely with architects, clients, and multidisciplinary teams. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior staff and contributing to the technical excellence of the group.

Qualifications

• Chartered or actively working towards chartership.
• 6+ years’ experience in structural engineering.
• Strong working knowledge of TSD, Robot Structural Analysis, Tedds, NBS Chorus.
• Proven experience managing the delivery of structural output on large-scale projects (£30m+).
• Capable of coordinating technicians and graduate engineers.
• Experience delivering technical packages on projects in excess of £30m.
• Eager to develop leadership skills and broaden design/project experience.
