Principal Structural Engineer Job Overview

Carry out structural design calculations in steel, concrete, timber and masonry (BS & Eurocodes) Manage design delivery in line with QMS procedures and design checking protocols Lead smaller projects independently or support larger multi-disciplinary schemes Work closely with clients, architects, contractors and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget Supervise site investigations and undertake structural inspections Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development Prepare fee proposals, tenders, and contribute to business development Ensure commercial delivery of projects against deadlines and budgets
