Overview

Process Development Engineer - Optoelectronics role at TieTalent, based in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. The company specializes in the design and manufacture of secure communication devices for defence and aerospace sectors. The position involves delivering solutions to material and integration challenges aligned with optoelectronic assemblies / hybrid microelectronics packaging. You will be the subject matter expert for optoelectronic materials and development within manufacturing processes, liaising with design and manufacturing departments as well as externally with customers on multi-channel optical communications.

Responsibilities

• Be the subject matter expert for optoelectronic materials and development within manufacturing processes.
• Liaise with design and manufacturing departments and externally with customers on multi-channel optical communications.
• Deliver solutions to material and integration challenges aligned with optoelectronic assemblies / hybrid microelectronics packaging.

Qualifications

• Background in optoelectronic assemblies / devices.
• Good understanding of product development from NPI through to manufacture.
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance.
