PROCESS ENGINEER MONDAY - THURSDAY: 8.30AM - 5.00PM & FRIDAY: 8.30AM - 3.30PM ANNUAL SALARY BETWEEN £40,000 - £45,000 What's in it for me? Room for career growth and progression Ongoing training and development Day to Day Duties Complete day-to-day Process Engineering activities in the Diamorph CPM Group (Manchester) Value Stream Use standardised Process Engineering tools and processes for consistent execution Complete PFMEA and Control Plan activities to implement effective process controls Develop and maintain detailed production process maps and improvement plans Ensure Standard Operating Instructions (SOPs) are live and up-to-date Monitor and analyse manufacturing process data to identify improvement opportunities Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to drive operational performance improvements Implement process control measures including SPC techniques Provide technical support and troubleshooting to improve OEE Conduct process capability studies, statistical analysis, and data-driven decision making Support introduction of new products and processes, working cross-functionally Participate in Lean improvement events Assist cross-functional teams with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures Utilise the Business Management System (BMS) for Process Engineering functions Support development and implementation of procedures and policies Report on Process Engineering KPIs and annual improvement plans Support internal and external audit schedules Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements Maintain close working relationships with the value stream team Carry out any other reasonable requests from the Company Essential Skills Significant Process Engineering experience in a complex manufacturing environment Skilled in Yamazumi, Time-study (MOST), SOPs, Value Stream Mapping, SPC, Spaghetti diagrams Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Knowledge of process safety, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including GD&T Desirable Skills Experience designing and implementing new processes Lean manufacturing methodologies (Single Piece Flow, Jidoka, SMED, 5S) Project management tools (Microsoft Project, Gantt charts, Project Charters) Knowledge of APQP processes: PPAP, PSW, PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs Training On-the-job training provided Support for professional development and process improvement initiatives Contact If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more People Solutions do not charge any of their candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process
