Process Engineer Location: Barnoldswick

The Barnoldswick site produces metal mechanical components for consumer products, and you’ll be central to improving how they’re made.
The Role This is a role suited to someone with a strong technical grounding and a passion for process improvement and operational effectiveness. You’ll identify opportunities, implement changes, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Analyse equipment, layouts, workflows and resources to spot efficiency gains. Carry out time-and-motion studies and labour utilisation assessments. Recommend and implement improvements to layouts, processes or equipment. Lead CI initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma tools. Facilitate workshops and training to embed improvement culture. Build strong relationships across production, engineering, and operations. Prepare reports, cost-benefit analyses, and Capex recommendations.
About You Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering (or similar). A foundation in process engineering/operations effectiveness. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset. Good communicator with the ability to influence and build relationships across teams. Any experiernce with CAD/CAM would be advantageous
