JOB- Process Engineer

LOCATION- Stanford-le-Hope

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £35,000 to £50,000 per annum (plus benefits)

Premier Engineering is working with a specialist manufacturing company based in Stanford-le-Hope who are looking to expand their technical team with a Process Engineer . This is an exciting opportunity to join a company operating in the chemical processing sector , offering a long-term career with development opportunities.

The Process Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering or a related field

2+ years of experience in a process or production engineering role within a manufacturing or chemical plant environment

Strong understanding of chemical processing, plant operations , and continuous improvement

Familiarity with health & safety and environmental regulations (COMAH, DSEAR, HAZOP)

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and reporting abilities

Proficient with Microsoft Office and process modelling tools

The Process Engineer role will involve:

Supporting and improving chemical process operations across the site

Monitoring production performance and proposing efficiency improvements

Ensuring compliance with environmental, health and safety standards

Leading root cause analysis and corrective actions for process issues

Collaborating with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams

Assisting in the scale-up of new processes and product introductions
